Fixed Task | 2:1 FIFO Roster
As our valued Pipefitter Boilermaker, you'll play a key role in delivering critical SMP works across site — taking ownership of installations and ensuring everything is completed safely, to spec, and on time.
Working on a 2:1 FIFO roster, you'll get stuck into a broad scope of piping systems, including screwed, HDPE, and Victaulic/roll grooved. It's hands‐on, varied work where no two days look the same.
M2P provides direct charter flights from Brisbane, along with flights from other major capital cities and regional airports — making travel simple and hassle‐free.
You'll make an impact by:
* Installing and maintaining piping systems (screwed, HDPE, Victaulic/roll grooved)
* Reading and interpreting drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and technical documentation
* Carrying out fabrication and installation across SMP scopes
* Supporting broader underground tasks where required — pitching in where needed
* Working safely and collaboratively to keep the job moving
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Trade qualification in Pipefitting and/or Boilermaking
* White Card
* Current Working at Heights (issued within the last 2 years)
* EWP (over 11m)
* Proven experience across screwed, HDPE, and/or Victaulic piping systems
* Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen
* Full working rights in Australia
Ideally, you will also have:
* Confined Space
* Underground mining experience
* Previous FIFO / construction project experience
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
* Willingness to be flexible and support other trades as required
