Flagstone State School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Principal to lead and support teaching and learning in the Senior School.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed team focused on delivering high-quality education and building a positive school culture.
This role is offered on a full-time temporary basis, for a period of 6 months, unless otherwise determined.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.
About Flagstone State School
Our school has a current enrolment of 800 students enrolled from Prep to Year 6. We work to ensure all children receive quality education, and that their opportunity for success is maximised within a safe and supportive school environment.
This is accomplished via a diversity of programs that promote the foundational skills, and also offer opportunities for the diverse range of interests and abilities of our student body. We pride ourselves on the delivery of a personalised education for all students catering to every child's needs. We have a strong focus on providing opportunities for all students to achieve to their utmost potential. About The Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Deputise for the Principal when required.
* Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
* Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
