Your Opportunity 
Provide high quality, evidence-based, patient-focused medical oncology services to patients with solid tumours in the Bega Valley. 
Participate in specialist MDT meetings and lead development of processes and resources to enrol eligible patients into clinical trials, including relationships with tertiary trials units. 
Lead and participate in research and safety/quality projects to guide service improvement and ensure compliance with relevant standards and policies. 
Participate in CME and maintain professional standards in line with AHPRA requirements. 
Provide care oversight when not on site and respond to enquiries related to patient care, dosing, and management. 
Ensure routine use of SNSWLHD electronic systems (MOSAIQ) for documentation and chemotherapy prescribing for current treatments. 
Provide training to the local oncology team. 
Participate in the on-call roster as per clinical privileges. 
Review electronic treatment protocols and contribute to new protocol development for MOSAIQ. 
Selection Criteria 
Current Registration as a Medical Specialist with AHPRA. 
FRACP with subspecialty training and experience in medical oncology. 
Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive, high quality, compassionate medical oncology services and patient care. 
Recent experience in a specialist MDT. 
Ability to work with local clinical teams to lead and improve oncology service delivery. 
Experience in leading change and managing stakeholder impacts. 
Commitment to oncology education and training for local multidisciplinary clinicians. 
Commitment to clinical research, including experience in clinical trials. 
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination (OASV) requirements apply as per NSW Health policy. All new employees must comply with policy PD2024_015. Vaccination against influenza is required for NSW Health staff entering Residential Aged Care Facilities or working in NSW Health RACFs.
