Home Care Aide Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Home Care Aide to join our team in Geraldton.
Job Description
As a Home Care Aide, you will provide exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing their independence and quality of life. Your responsibilities will include a range of personal care tasks, such as showering, grooming, and toileting, as well as medication assistance, meal preparation, and domestic assistance.
Responsibilities:
* Providing personal care services to clients in their own homes
* Assisting with medication management and administering medications as required
* Preparing meals and snacks for clients
* Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
* Performing domestic assistance tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (highly desirable)
* At least 3 months relevant care work experience (if holding a certificate) or 6+ months relevant care work experience (if not holding a certificate)
* Experience working in a home care or community setting (highly desirable)
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* A valid Driver's License and unrestricted access to a registered vehicle
