Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant
Job Summary:
This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver care services to residents. The Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant will support the delivery of care under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager, and may be required to facilitate group activities and coordinate volunteer groups.
Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of care services to residents
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve care goals
* Facilitate group activities and coordinate volunteer groups
* Develop and implement programs to promote resident engagement and participation
Requirements:
* Vaccination against Covid-19 is strongly encouraged
* Demonstrate knowledge and experience of aged care processes
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
