Master 4 Skipper – OzSail Whitsundays
OzSail Whitsundays is a leading tourism operator in the Whitsunday region, offering unforgettable sailing experiences to visitors from around the world. We are currently seeking experienced Master 4 Skippers to join our team and lead our vessels across the Whitsundays.
We have opportunities available for full-time, casual, seasonal, and relief skippers, with immediate starts available for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate and manage vessels in accordance with AMSA regulations
* Lead, supervise, and support crew to deliver an exceptional guest experience
* Conduct passenger safety briefings and onboard drills
* Navigate and plan passages based on weather, tides, and operational conditions
* Maintain vessels and equipment to a high operational and presentation standard
* Provide friendly, professional customer service and clear communication with guests
Requirements
* Master 4 Certificate of Competency (or higher)
* Minimum 1–2 years relevant experience operating commercial vessels
* Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
* Solid understanding of sailing operations and basic vessel maintenance
* Ability to work calmly under pressure and as part of a team
* Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
* Full Australian working rights
