Silkari Lagoons is located in tropical Port Douglas and offers a variety of hotel rooms and apartments.
Responsibilities:
* Check-in and check-out guests,
* Answer incoming calls and attend to guest queries,
* Enter data into the system and balance at the end of each shift,
* Issue room keys to guests and ensure procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality,
* Provide friendly, personalised customer service at all times,
* Recommend restaurants and places of interest according to guests' needs,
* Ensure the smooth running of the reception desk,
* Other varied hotel administration tasks
Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you will need to be dynamic, passionate and customer-focused. As an integral part of delivering exceptional customer service, you will possess:
* High attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment, as well as independently,
* Strong customer focus, a friendly and polite personality,
* Availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster,
* A strong work ethic, energetic, a quick learner, and excellent personal presentation,
* Be an excellent communicator,
* Hotel Front Office experience is an advantage but not a prerequisite. Training will be provided.
* Experience using a Property Management System (RMS Cloud preferred, but not a prerequisite)
