About the role
Sunstate Glass is seeking a dedicated Glazier or Glass Worker to join our team in Warana, Queensland. This is a full-time position, with the Sunshine Coast's leading glass company. As a key member of our skilled trades team, you will play an integral role in the installation, repair and maintenance of glass products across commercial and residential properties. With a wide variety of work, no two days are the same.
What you'll be doing
* Measure, cut, fit, and install a variety of glass products including windows, doors, and mirrors
* Perform skilled glazing tasks such as glazing, re-glazing, and glass replacement
* Operate power tools and hand tools required for glass cutting, fitting, and installation
* Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients throughout projects
* Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the workshop and equipment
* Install balustrade systems
* Fabricate and install aluminum frames for commercial applications
What we're looking for
* Experienced glazier, commercial aluminum fabricator, pool fencing and balustrading installer
* Previous experience in aluminum framing fabrication and balustrade installation would be highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
* Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
* Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
* A passion for the building and construction industry
