Job Title: Warehouse Assistant - Supply Chain Management
We are seeking a skilled and organised individual to oversee the efficient management and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies required for our construction projects. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our on-site operations and ensuring the smooth delivery of our services.
Responsibilities:
* Receiving, cataloguing, and storing all incoming materials and equipment
* Maintaining accurate inventory records
* Issuing and distributing materials and equipment to project sites as required
* Identifying and ordering replacement parts and supplies in a timely manner
* Coordinating with suppliers, project managers, and site supervisors to ensure the availability of necessary resources
* Implementing and monitoring inventory control procedures to minimise waste and losses
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe storage facility
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a storekeeper or a similar role within the construction industry
* A minimum of 1-2 years of construction storekeeper experience is required
* Strong organisational and record-keeping skills, with the ability to maintain accurate inventory data
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with project teams
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* HR Licence, White Card, and experience operating materials handling equipment
* Construction industry experience preferred
