Teach and research Educational Psychology across Initial Teacher Education programs at Western's School of Education.
The Opportunity
You will teach and coordinate Educational Psychology and related pre‐service teacher education subjects across Primary Initial Teacher Education and Post‐initial teacher education programs. You will design, develop, deliver and assess learning experiences across face‐to‐face, online and intensive modes, providing timely feedback and maintaining accurate student records.
You will contribute to course quality and accreditation outcomes by ensuring subject design and delivery align with internal quality assurance processes and external accreditation requirements. You will support subject coordination activities, including guiding casual academic staff where relevant, and contribute to student engagement and outreach activities across the School and University.
You will build an active research and scholarship profile at Academic Level B by contributing to research projects, publishing high‐quality outputs, and progressing initiatives from inception through to publication. You will supervise postgraduate research candidates, foster collaborations across the School, Faculty and University, and strengthen partnerships with schools and the education sector, including support for Professional Experience placements and assessment activities such as the Teacher Performance Assessment.

* High‐quality subject coordination and teaching across Educational Psychology and ITE programs.
* Subject design and assessment that meet quality assurance and accreditation requirements.
* Effective blended delivery with clear feedback and accurate assessment records.
* Research outputs and project contributions aligned to Academic Level B expectations.
* Strong partnerships with schools and education stakeholders that support placements and course delivery.
* PhD or EdD in Education or a closely related discipline.
* Demonstrated tertiary teaching experience, including contemporary curriculum design and e‐learning.
* Experience developing Educational Psychology curriculum for Primary and/or Secondary contexts.
* Evidence of high‐quality publications and research progression aligned to the level.
* Experience, or clear potential, to supervise Honours and higher‐degree research students.
