About The Role

At the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, we believe in building a vibrant and sustainable community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

The City's recent organisational realignment has created the need for a new personal assistant position, to the Director Finance, People and Culture.

As a Personal Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director and Executive Leadership Team to deliver the strategic community plan and shape the future of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. You will work closely with the Managers and Coordinators within the portfolio as well as across other operational areas of the City to ensure effective, efficient and customer-focused performance and will be expected to support a highly collaborative wider team with any ad hoc requests.

We are seeking someone who is organised, efficient, able to manage their own workload, take initiative and be an energetic member of the team. This role is perfect for someone with previous administrative or executive support experience who is looking for exposure to a dynamic workplace and opportunity for career development.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to prioritise and multi-task in a high volume and deadline-driven environment while delivering work on time, to a high standard and with attention to detail. Local government experience will be highly regarded.

* CONNECT- We will work as one organisation that communicates openly, and actively connects with our teams, community and stakeholders.

We provide employees with generous employment conditions/benefits, including:

* Salary sacrificing
* Flexible Working Arrangements
* A host of health and well-being initiatives, including the Employee Assistance Program
* Generous Superannuation contributions with the City matching up to 3% voluntary additional contributions
