Opportunity
We are seeking a Water Treatment Operator with Reverse Osmosis (RO) experience to operate and maintain a leachate/waste water treatment plant in Raymond Terrace. An attractive salary package, which includes overtime paid at an hourly rate, is on offer for the role. Responsibilities
* Operate, monitor, and maintain the contaminated water treatment plant.
* Assist project/process engineers in undertaking improvement and optimisation initiatives.
* Carry out water sampling with a high degree of care to prevent cross contamination.
* Maintain asset integrity by regular inspections, services and testing to ensure maximum uptime.
* Work closely with stakeholders to ensure contract obligations are met.
* Undertake routine maintenance activities, including supervision of work orders and maintaining a spare parts inventory.
Qualifications
* Experience in water treatment operations.
* A working knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and components.
* Previous experience in water sampling and/or testing is highly regarded.
* Ability to pass a criminal history check and Department of Defence baseline security clearance.
