ABOUT THE POSITION
We are currently seeking a Full Time Store Manager to join our passionate and talented team. The applicant must have a strong work ethic and be able to work within a team environment to help build and maintain a strong business.
The perfect candidate will be a driven, ambitious and motivated individual that will perform their duties in a timely manner.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operation of the retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient trading
* Lead, motivate, train and manage a high-performing team, including rostering and performance management
* Take full ownership of store presentation, visual merchandising and cleanliness standards
* Manage cash handling, daily takings, banking and reconciliation with accuracy and integrity
* Monitor and drive sales performance
* Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving issues and complaints professionally
* Maintain strong loss prevention and stock control practices
* Manage stock ordering, receiving, rotation and inventory accuracy
* Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS, and retail procedures
* Prepare and manage staff rosters in line with budgeted wages
* Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and development
* Identify opportunities to improve systems, sales and efficiency
* Act as the primary point of accountability for store performance in the owner's absence
Skills, Experience & Expectations
* Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Manager
* Strong leadership and people-management skills
* High level of honesty, reliability and accountability
* Confident with cash register, POS systems, cash management and reporting
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the store
* Strong communication skills with both staff and customers
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
* Flexible availability, including weekends and peak trading periods
* A hands-on approach — willing to lead from the front

You will be working within a team environment including senior and junior staff members, and the owner / operator of the business on a daily basis with full training provided.
