Job Opportunity
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. This is a permanent full-time or part-time position.
About the Role
* This position will involve taking on a key leadership role within our ward, working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager in the efficient management of staff and resources.
* You will be mentoring and leading a passionate team of nurses and clinical support staff alongside a supportive leadership team.
* This role will suit an individual driven to help others succeed and looking to step up into a management role.
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership: Assist in managing the nursing team to ensure high standards of patient care.
2. Clinical Duties: Provide direct patient care, including administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatments.
3. Coordination: Oversee daily operations, manage staff schedules, and ensure efficient use of resources.
4. Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with NSQHS.
5. Support: Offer support and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements
* Must have a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse.
* Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
* 3 years' specialty experience minimum as a Nurse in Oncology/Haematology.
* Any clinical leadership experience or post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
