As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation, serving meals to residents, and maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
Responsibilities:
* Meal Preparation: Assist in preparing meals under the supervision of the Cook or Head Chef.
* Serving Meals: Help serve meals to residents during meal times, ensuring each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.
* Dining Room Setup: Set up the dining areas before meal times, ensuring tables are clean and all necessary items are in place.
* Dishwashing and Cleaning: Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
* Resident Interaction: Interact with residents in a friendly and courteous manner during meal times, addressing their needs and requests as appropriate.
Requirements:
* Food Handling Certificate.
* Adaptable, passionate, and willingness to learn.
* Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
* Friendly and effective communication abilities.
