Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Freight Transport Specialist to join our team. This full-time role works day shifts across Monday – Saturday.
Our company is a leading provider of fresh produce transportation, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres.
As a Regional Freight Transport Specialist, you will be responsible for safe transportation of goods, interacting with customers in a professional manner, and working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading, and transportation of freight.
To succeed in this role, you will need a current and valid Heavy Combination or Multi Combination Licence, previous commercial driving experience, a safe driving record, and a commitment to workplace health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safe Operations: Demonstrate safe work practices, lead by example, and promote a safe work culture.
* Temperature Sensitive Freight: Work with and understand temperature sensitive freight, ensuring safe and timely handling.
* Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional manner.
* Teamwork & Communication: Work closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading, and transportation of freight.
* Good Work Ethic: Be reliable, supportive, and willing to have a go.
* Quality Checks & Control: Complete relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation, and delivery of paperwork.

Requirements:
* Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test.
* Provide a current traffic print out.
* Be willing to work weekend shifts and be flexible with start & finish times.
