Our client's QLD Infrastructure team are collaborating with major clients on a 'city-shaping' projects, and we're looking for an established Senior Cost Engineerto join our highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate Queensland office.
* 10+ years' experience in cost engineering or estimating on civil infrastructure
* Strong first‑principles estimating capability
* Demonstrated experience with transport infrastructure (roads, bridges, rail interfaces, bus or interchange projects)
* Experience delivering Category 2–3 estimates aligned with PCEM or similar frameworks
* Proven P50 / P90 risk‑adjusted estimating, including QSRA / Monte Carlo exposure
* Practical understanding of construction staging, traffic management, and delivery risk
* Confident engaging directly with senior client and consultant stakeholders
* Proficient in Expert Estimation / Bluebeam / P6 / Excel
* Engineering, construction or QS qualification

* 4–8 years' experience in estimating or cost engineering
* Background in civil infrastructure, transport, water or utilities
* Demonstrated first‑principles estimating experience
* Strong drawing and specification interpretation
* Tender and subcontractor pricing exposure
* Proficient in Bluebeam, Expert Estimation and Excel
* Engineering or construction‑related qualification
