Northline are looking for an Offsider to load and unload local Coke consignments. Based on site at Coke in Alice Springs, your superior work ethic will see you working efficiently to ensure the ongoing success of our Northern Territory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Coke Driver in completing local pickup and deliveries;
* Accurately pick deliveries off the truck for specific orders;
* Ensure freight is unloaded or loaded and is accounted for and scanned;
* Provide excellent customer service to customers;
* Comply with safe operating procedures in line with freight deadlines and commitments;
* Be responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle.
As a successful candidate you will:
* Be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting (manual handling) of freight up to 20kgs, as well as opening and closing of curtains;
* Hold a current Forklift Licence – highly regarded, but not essential;
* Have good communication and time management skills;
* Have prior exposure working in physically demanding conditions;
* Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
