The Financial Strategy Specialist plays a pivotal role in combining asset management, financial strategy, and business partnering. This team member will own infrastructure accounting requirements and collaborate with asset-owning teams to provide trusted advisory support to operational leaders.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage accounting requirements for the organisation's asset portfolio, ensuring seamless integration with financial strategy.
* Coordinate Annual Budget Reviews and Quarterly Budget Updates to align with organisational objectives.
* Build strong partnerships with business units to provide financial performance insights and guidance, supporting strategic decision-making.
This specialist will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting standards, consider whole-of-life asset management, and support capital works and maintenance programs through robust financial modelling.
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related field.
* 5+ years' experience in a comparable role within a large organisation.
* Strong background in asset accounting and internal/external financial reporting, with a keen eye for detail.
