Auskron is seeking an experienced and highly organised Accounts Manager to take ownership of the company's accounting and reporting obligations. This is a key role within our growing plumbing business, offering the opportunity to work closely with management and contribute to operational efficiency and financial integrity.
About the Role
As Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing accounts payable and receivable
* Processing fortnightly payroll, including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, leave provisions, reconciliation and reporting
* Maintaining accurate financial data in MYOB
* Month-end reconciliations (bank accounts, credit cards, purchases) with full supporting documentation
* BAS preparation and lodgement
* Managing vehicle registrations (regos)
* Managing company insurances
* Assisting with the Fixed Asset Register
* Preparing ad-hoc financial and operational reports to support management decision-making
* Other duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounts role
* Intermediate to advanced MYOB skills
* Strong and accurate data entry skills
* Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Business or equivalent practical experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
* Ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities and communicate clearly across the business
