**About the opportunity**
Our team is looking for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join us. You will work with our highly skilled endodontist and oral surgeon in the practice and in several locations throughout Adelaide. You will gain exposure to advanced surgical treatments rarely seen in general dental practices, and a wide-ranging work week.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist the surgeon and endodontist with chairside treatments and surgery
- Sterilise and prepare instruments for treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms
- Reception desk duties and administrative tasks as required
**What we are looking for**
- An experienced dental assistant with Certificate III in Dental Assisting and at least 1 year of experience
- Certificate IV in Dental Assisting is preferred or you be willing to acquire it within 12 months
- Experience in implants, endodontics, and surgical extractions preferred
- An interest in cosmetic surgery and growing your skill set
- A high standard of infection control
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Punctual
- Empathetic, kind and friendly
