We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to fill the role of Agricultural Advisor. This position will play a key part in promoting best practices in sustainable primary production, aiming for food security and environmental resilience.
The Agricultural Advisor will provide expert advice to farmers, deliver landholder education, and lead on-ground sustainable agriculture projects. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing extension services to farmers and landholders
* Developing and implementing sustainable agriculture projects
* Collaborating with stakeholders to promote agricultural practices

The successful candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, rural science, or related fields, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. A relevant tertiary qualification or extensive experience in agriculture is essential.
The role offers flexible working arrangements, including remote work options up to 2 days per week post-onboarding. Salary and conditions will be according to the NSW Local Government (State) Award, with a salary range of $83,131 to $97,719 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
