Your new role awaits
Coates Engineering Solutions is a specialist team of engineers, designers and technical support personal providing turnkey solutions (i.e. equipment and service) to our customers to meet the needs of their temporary works. This usually involves one or more of the following; shoring, propping, dewatering, water treatment and/or traffic management. Working across high profile projects, the position of Supervisor - Installations, will use construction and on-site experience and skills to plan, execute and supervise the installation of our specialist structural and temporary works products, with a primary focus on dewatering whilst working closely with our customers.
**A typical day will include**:
- Be the Coates representative on site taking responsibility for delivery of client solution, delegate tasks, ensure safety, quality, and monitor productivity 
- Oversee the coordination & installation of our range of specialised products on customer sites 
- Running prestart and tool box meetings 
- Manage customer site conditions, delays, customer expectations and variances to original quote 
- Demonstrate a Safety First culture throughout the organisation 
- Build and develop an efficient and effective installation team 
- Working with Coates branches to organise plant, equipment and resourcing
What you'll bring to the role 
- Strong construction site experience, with a focus on dewatering; you will have prepared and managed risk assessments and safe work method statements 
- Experience building relationships with customers and sub-contractors 
- Experience in managing a team, delegating tasks and personnel supervision to meet project timelines. 
- Experience in project management on multiple sites will be highly regarded 
- Good planning and team leadership skills with the ability to work autonomously and the possession of excellent problem solving skills.
**Qualifications**:
- Telehandler ticket will be highly regarded 
- High Risk work licence will be highly regarded for EWP (+11m)/Forklift/Basic Riggers 
- Trade qualifications or equivalent experience 
- Undertaking or having completed a diploma in engineering, construction management or project management is preferred for this role.
