Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Designer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Brisbane.
We manage our clients' entire project lifecycle from studies to building assets, operating the assets, and developing efficiencies. Join our team and become part of a community that strives for positive change-providing the best solutions for our clients' toughest challenges!
- Perform conceptual layout work
- Perform the design and drafting of mechanical plant models using applicable standards, project technical specifications and enterprise or project procedures
- Prepare 3D equipment modelling and 3D design
- Develop engineering design details and special items drawings
**You will bring to the role;**
- Advanced Diploma of Engineering or equivalent (mechanical preferred)
- Solid mechanical design and modelling experience
- Experience within a large project, multidisciplinary EPCM environment
- Ability to take instruction and work unsupervised
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- BMH and plant layout experience
