Defence digital projects involve delivering complex solutions that require strong technical and interpersonal skills. This role supports clients and teams in planning and delivery of major defence digital projects, with core skillsets including project management, systems engineering and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and direction for large defence projects and programs, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
* Develop and maintain relationships with new clients and enhance existing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
* Strong communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills to drive project success
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner, optimising time and quality outcomes
* Lead the delivery of projects to achieve strategic goals and objectives, leveraging expertise in project management, systems engineering and integration
The ideal candidate will have 3-20 years experience, a relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience/training, project management training or qualification desirable, and be able to obtain and maintain a minimum Australian Government Baseline NV1 Security Clearance.
As a digital defence project leader, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex defence projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions. You will leverage your expertise in project management, systems engineering and integration to lead cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality results.
With a focus on timeliness, cost-effectiveness and quality, you will work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on-time and within budget. Your ability to communicate effectively, build strong relationships and drive project success will be critical to this role.
