Blue Care Central Kitchen is seeking a dedicated Cook to support in providing nutritious meals for our residents, as well as support the wider hospitality team.

About The Role
This is a great opportunity for a Cook or highly experienced kitchen hand aiming to restore their work life balance and gain employment in one of Australia’s fastest growing industries with the following tasks:
- Prepare, cook and serve food in adherence with dietary requirements with a strong focus on food safety standards.
- Support senior hospitality staff members with menu design and implementation.
- Promote quality standards and maintain service with standard operating procedures.
Role Requirements
As a Cook, you’ll take pride in your presentation, be knowledgeable in relation to nutrition and have a keen interest in the impact of dietary requirements on our aged residents. You will have proven experience in safe food preparation, storage and delivery, a clear understanding of WHS, be confident in medium-high volume meal preparation, and demonstrate the following:
- Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent skills from previous experience
- Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of Australian food and beverage standards
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
