A non-for-profit company based in Burwood are seeking a motivated Junior ER Administrator to join their growing HR team.

- Immediate start

A non-for-profit automotive company with a national presence is looking for a Junior ER Administrator. A successful applicant will join a fast-paced, high-performing yet supportive team environment which upholds strong WHS policies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide accurate advice by telephone and in writing to members on all aspects of employee relations issues including wages, Award conditions, enterprise agreements, income tax, payroll tax, equal employment opportunity, discrimination, workplace health and safety, superannuation, termination processes and workers compensation
- Provide advice on claims lodged with Fair Work Commission both as to the legal aspects and process
- Assist in preparation of documentation and represent members on claims lodged in Fair Work Commission
- Represent members in the first instance in disputes with employees and former employees in Fair Work Commission.
- Assist in the maintenance and presentation of training courses on employee relations matters
- Assist the General Counsel and Head of Employment Relations in researching issues and in the preparation of submissions on Government policies, evidence and exhibits in Fair Work Commission matters
- Assist members with set-up, training and operation of ERIS as required
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and prepare minutes of IR meetings
- Assist as required in the administrative functions for ERIS
- Travel intrastate as required to service member nights and activities
- Prepare webinars and other training material for distribution to members

**About you**:

- Degree in Human Resources, Employment Law or a related discipline
- Sound knowledge of legislative frameworks applicable to employment arrangements
- 1-3 years experience in HR and industrial relations advice capacity
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Relations and Employment Relations policies and legislation
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and small business is desirable
- Great attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication
