The DEECA Chief Procurement Officer is seeking a Senior Change Manager to lead and execute change readiness activities for the Procurement branch, ensuring successful adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working. This role will focus on preparing the team for change, building capability, and mitigating resistance in order to transition to new business as usual practices.

This includes providing support and coaching advice to people leaders to help them instill change in their teams.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

* Change Management Qualifications (e.g. PROSCI) is a preference
* Minimum 3 years as a Senior Change Manager / Lead supporting strategic initiatives, noting that previous experience with major transformation in the public service is a preference.
* Demonstrated experience managing a complex, diverse and dispersed group of stakeholders, aligning them to the program objectives and ensuring they deliver to the agreed scope.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2026. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
