When was the last time you made a difference in someone's life? It takes a special person to be a Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their independence and wellbeing. We are looking for a Cert III qualified person with at least 6 months experience in a similar role, to join the Silverchain team in the Charlestown NSW **** area.

Requirements
Open Australian Driver's Licence & own insured, roadworthy vehicle
Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role that includes personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications
National Police check, Work Rights check & confirmed COVID-19 vaccination status (recommended)
The Role
General housekeeping: cleaning, mopping, vacuuming floors, making beds, washing, folding & ironing laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping
Personal care: helping clients get out of bed, shower, dress; assisting with mobility & therapy goals; providing complex care for high care needs such as dementia; providing social & emotional support; transport to lifestyle activities or appointments; supporting family carers
