We are seeking a motivated and ambitious sales professional to play a pivotal role in creating a new sales territory and driving growth and market share across the Queensland region.
* This role will suit a strategic thinker who loves to solve problems from all angles, and who gets satisfaction from providing the best product solution, not just the sale.
* You'll need to be able to relate to a broad customer base as you'll be building relationships with local farmers, retail salespeople, farm managers, farm owners and corporate farms as well.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is up for a challenge, keen to get on the farm to understand our customers' needs and deliver comprehensive, whole solution selling of both hardware and software.
The ideal candidate will have proven sales success, particularly in the agricultural sector, and experience developing new business and creating strategic sales plans.
Responsibilities
* Sales and technical support to dealers and end-users
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans
* Manage key relationships with dealers, farmers, and service organisations
* Spot opportunities to grow the region through your strategic lens; networking, building partnerships, and running events to enhance brand awareness
This role involves working closely with our dealer network and end-users to provide solutions that meet their needs. You will also be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth and market share.
Requirements
* Proven sales success (agricultural sector knowledge is a must)
* Experience developing new business and creating strategic sales plans
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing relationships with key customers and dealers/resellers
* Strong digital acumen, with knowledge of cloud-based solutions and the ability to relay technical information
* A hunter mindset with a drive for success and a passion for results
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (experience presenting and running events would be an advantage)
