THE POSITION 
This role is responsible for the successful coordination, events and functions, including client (internal and external) liaison and dining operations. 
Plan for functions and events - this includes compiling run sheets, floorplans and managing invoicing 
Provide administration support to the site's management team 
Adherence to Our Safety Culture framework is expected 
Facilitate the smooth running of events from start to finish 
Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients and respond to feedback 
Liaise with kitchen and service teams regarding room set up and menu requirements during weekly run sheet meetings 
Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming service to customers and clients 
THE PERSON 
Minimum 2+ years with proven experience in a function venue or similar environment 
Interest in the food and beverages / hospitality industry 
Knowledge of front of house service and room set ups 
Excellent communication skills 
Proficiency in event management software 
Detail orientated. 
A current Working With Children Check or ability to obtain is a requirement of this role
