What you'll do
* Support residents in one of our facilities by providing quality person‐centred care, with the wants and needs of the resident at the core of all of your actions.
* Collaborate with other staff to provide quality physical, emotional, wellness and clinical care.
* Build relationships with aged care residents and their families.
* Engage and liaise with residents, their families and carers to improve their health, lifestyle and well‐being.
* Share professional knowledge with your teammates.
What you'll bring
* Certificate III in either Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing).
* Demonstrated understanding of the physical, emotional and social needs of older people.
* Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Current influenza vaccination and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* National Police Clearance (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people; 6 months or more remaining on clearance; NPC valid for 3 years).
