About the Role
As we embark on our next exciting phase of transformation and growth, we have created the need for an FP&A Manager to drive strategic benefits across our ANZ business. Reporting to the Vice President, Risk, Finance, Procurement and Strategy, you will be responsible for driving financial insight, performance reporting, forecasting, and supporting key strategic decision-making across our construction business.
Partnering with operational leaders, project teams, and finance stakeholders, you will provide visibility on our financial performance, identifying opportunities for margin improvement, cash flow optimization, and risk management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Financial Planning and Forecasting: Leading the budgeting process across business units, performing EBI calculations at month end, and preparing rolling forecasts incorporating project pipelines, risks, and opportunities.
Reporting & Analysis: Providing monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packs to ANZ business and Paris HQ, including revenue, margin, cost tracking, WIP analysis, project performance dashboards, and cash flow forecasts. Providing analytical insight on a broad range of financial and commercial issues, understanding business drivers impacting financial performance, and analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
Business Partnering: Acting as a trusted adviser to project directors, commercial managers, and operations teams. Supporting project bids and tenders with financial modeling and scenario analysis for project delays, cost overruns, or contract variations.
Commercial and Strategic Support: Participating in special projects (JVs, alliances, consortiums, major CAPEX), developing financial models for new projects or business cases, and supporting pricing strategies and margin analysis.
Process Improvement: Enhancing financial systems, reporting tools, and processes. Automating reporting where possible and identifying areas for cost savings and business improvements.
Experience & Qualifications: 8-10 years FP&A experience (4-5 at Analyst level + 3-5 at Manager level), tertiary and CA/CPA qualified, experience within complex global multinational matrix environments, intermediate to advanced Excel skills, ERP systems experience (SAP ideally), postgraduate qualifications (Masters or MBA), and construction industry experience with exposure to large-scale O&M + D&C projects.
