As a People Adviser, you will play a key role in supporting the HR function by providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR‐related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‐paced environment.

Reporting to the People Partner – Advisory Lead, you will provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and best practices.

This is a 12‐month maximum‐term contract opportunity where full‐time and part‐time hours will be considered.

This role will work across our West Perth and Joondalup offices.

What will you be doing?

* Providing interpretation and advice to Leaders regarding HR policies, procedures and processes
* Providing assistance to employees in relation to general HR enquiries
* Reviewing and processing people tasks through the HR system (Workday)
* Assisting with the resolution of employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances
* Managing employee data and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times
* Assisting with the administration of HR programs and initiatives, such as performance management, training and development, and employee engagement
* Staying informed of changes to employment laws and regulations and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
* Collaborating with HR colleagues and other departments to support the achievement of organisational goals and objectives

What are we looking for in you?

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
* Previous experience in an HR role, with a focus on employee relations and advisory services
* Proven ability to support and coach front‐line leaders through complex performance and conduct issues within a high‐volume operational environment
* Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
* Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
* Detail‐oriented with strong organisational and time‐management skills
