Job Description
The Operations Manager will be responsible for delivering the strategic and operational objectives of our delivery operations. This involves managing, coordinating, developing, and coaching a team to ensure high-quality service and meet the goal of 'on time every time.'
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operations including delivery plans, freight movement, delivery workloads, forecast resource requirements, and oversee operations division.
* Collaborate cross-departmentally to align operations with organisational objectives.
* Report on operational efficiency and quality standards.
* Uphold WHS guidelines, Chain of Responsibility, and NHVR and enforce compliance.
* Ensure all incidents and hazards are reported and investigated in a timely manner.
* Monitor employee and team performance, offering coaching, training, and feedback for improvement.
* Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, and training.
