**Your new role**
The School of Design and the Built Environment (DBE) is currently seeking an enthusiastic
**Administrative Officer** to join its team.
The role of Administrative Officer is interesting, exciting and varied, and your day will involve providing general administrative support necessary for the effective functioning of the area. This includes and is not limited to:
- Coordinate arrangements for meetings, and manage the commitments and diaries of senior staff.
- Coordinate the content, publishing and distribution of reports and other documentation, as required. (e.g. briefing papers, minutes and agenda papers and general correspondence).
- Provide administrative and logístical support for projects and other discrete area activities.
- Provide event coordination and operation support for internal events including but not limited to sourcing and organising venues, catering, suppliers and promotional activities.
- In liaison with the University's Travel Team, arrange and coordinate travel arrangements for staff and visitors in accordance with the Travel Procedure and ensure all travel details are reviewed and accurate.
- Liaise with relevant area stakeholder and University functional areas (e.g. Human Resources, Finance, Properties, and Corporate Relations) to ensure specific work is completed as necessary.

As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
