**Electrical Technician Role Overview**
The role of an Electrical Technician is a vital position in our operations. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of electrical systems onboard vessels.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of electrical principles and have hands-on experience with electrical components, including MCBs, MCCBs, ELCBs, relays, ACBs, MPCBs, contactors, VFDs, and PLC wiring.
Responsibilities:
* Bus Bar / Wiring: Design, manufacture, modify, and test busbar arrangements, PDBs, MDBs, SMDBs, Capacitor Bank DBs.
* HV Electricians: Fabricate and install HV/MV panels, Glanding, termination, cable jointing, testing & commissioning.
* Outfit Electricians: Perform electrical outfitting jobs, including cable laying, Glanding, termination, and control wiring.
Requirements:
* A valid Malaysian passport.
* Willingness to travel onboard vessels.
* 2-3 years of relevant experience (preferably less than 5 years) in each discipline.
* Knowledge and hands-on experience with electrical components.
* For HV Electricians: experience in installing, testing, and commissioning medium and high voltage systems.
* For Outfit Electricians: knowledge of electrical equipment, navigation, communication, and power systems.
