The role
Senior Sales Engineer
– Adelaide (SA) As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will drive customer acquisition and revenue by delivering tailored, end‑to‑end solutions using Sine products and integrations. You will act as a technical expert, collaborate cross‑functionally, and support the sales team through coaching and hands‑on engagement to achieve strong customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Support profitable and strategic sales growth, drive customer acquisition, establish market demand and grow business with new and existing customers. Act as technical liaison, translating customer needs into actionable solution designs. Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way to both internal sales teams and customer stakeholders. Ensure clear estimates and well‑defined scopes of works are provided to the sales team, supporting accurate customer proposals. Ensure alignment between proposed solutions and delivery capabilities, confirming that what is sold can be successfully implemented. Maintain a deep understanding of new product features and upcoming roadmap releases, and train the sales team on technical and customer use cases. Own the completion of customer‑requested information security documentation, ensuring all compliance and privacy standards are clearly addressed and communicated. Lead the technical scoping of customer solutions and conduct customer‑facing demos and discussions, addressing technical requirements and compliance with security standards. Support Account Executives with pre‑sales presentations and become a trusted advisor. Provide ongoing coaching and support to the sales team in winning opportunities, determining technical components related to customer requirements and providing market feedback. Establish and build trusted relationships with customers by providing expert technical guidance, ensuring confidence throughout the pre‑sales stage and beyond. Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years as an individual‑contributor technical and/or commercial representative. Demonstrated experience in SaaS, access control, apps, or related B2B industries. Experience supporting a full sales cycle with estimation, solution design, and strategy. Sales experience in the commercial buildings or SaaS industry preferred. Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with offering, engineering, and sales teams. Understanding of building sales strategies from market data across multiple geographies/industries using a common sense approach. Professional Skills & Knowledge
Technical aptitude with a deep product understanding. High level of customer focus and exceptional attention to detail. Customer‑facing communication, including presentation skills and credibility building. Effective collaboration and communication across all internal departments. Ability to train sales professionals on new offerings and sales processes. Clear articulation of value and demonstration of how solutions map to customer needs.
