We are looking for a Technical Solutions Specialist to act as a key link between our customers and development teams. In this role, you’ll help translate customer needs into tailored technical solutions while guiding them in using our products effectively. You will support technical sales, product configuration, and implementation across the full lifecycle of our software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth understanding of customer requirements and translate them to the development team
- Guide the customer on how to optimize their software usage to get the best out of our products
- Provide technical support and expertise to customers, testing applications, responding to customer feedback, maintenance, and performing sales presentations and demonstrations
- Providing support for the technical sales process, tendering and solutions based on customer requirements in cooperation with the development team
- Assistance and support for the creation of technical documents, such as user and operational documentation as well as training documentation
- Responsible for all technical matters regarding the analysis and verification of application-related customer data
- Working closely with the product development teams to deliver solutions in an agile environment
- Support solution and product, configuration, implementation, testing and documentation
- Be involved in all project phases; from design, configuration, workshops, and documentation, to test case definition and execution
Skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent technical degree
- More than three years of professional experience, ideally with domain knowledge in the energy industry (transmission and distribution systems are an asset)
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL-Server, programming skills in C#, and software configuration
- Nice to know SQL queries, data modeling, python programming, and data analytics
- Robust communication skills and ability to provide technical support to customers as well as to develop good relationships with them
- Proven experience in Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall project delivery and working with PM tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.)
