AA Euro Group are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the remaining delivery of a £6m package within a £20m groundworks scheme based in Stradishall, Newmarket.The remaining scope of works includes:
* Drainage
* Services installation
* Hard landscaping
* Minor reinforced concrete (RC) works
The programme has approximately 60 weeks remaining, and the successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the existing Site Manager and Engineer to deliver all remaining works.
* Take overall accountability for Health & Safety on site, ensuring compliance and that all documentation is in place and adhered to.
* Manage and administer NEC contracts in collaboration with the Project QS and Contracts Manager.
* Liaise effectively with Contractors and maintain strong working relationships.
* Prepare monthly labour and plant lookaheads based on updated target programmes.
* Monitor progress against programme and implement corrective actions where required.
* Oversee subcontractor performance, quality control, and compliance.
* Ensure site records, reporting, and contractual documentation are maintained accurately.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience delivering groundworks packages of similar scale and value.
* Strong working knowledge and practical experience of NEC contract administration.
* Experience working with main contractors.
* Strong Health & Safety leadership and compliance management.
* Ability to manage programme delivery, labour, plant, and subcontractor coordination.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
* Background in drainage and infrastructure-led groundworks projects.
* Experience delivering projects within secure or complex environments.
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Professional), First Aid
