Job Description
As a Psychologist, you will play a pivotal role in providing psychological support and intervention to detainees, promoting mental health and well-being, and ensuring the implementation of effective support programs and policies. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing the Psychological Support Program Framework, designing Supportive Monitoring and Engagement Plans for detainees, and collaborating closely with key stakeholders to promote holistic mental health care within the facility.
We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and a passion for improving mental health. You excel in thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams. Your collaborative approach shines in multidisciplinary teams, allowing you to create holistic care solutions.
The position is 9-5 (negotiable), 3 days per week, preferably Tues, Thurs and Fri.
Psychologist – AHPRA Full or Provisional
Let's talk about you!
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, or Clinical Psychology
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a Psychologist work role, preferably working with diverse populations facing various psychosocial issues.
* Demonstrated experience in providing group-based treatment.
* Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist (full or provisional registration in Australia).
* Experience working in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) support
