Description:
Mackay Base Hospital requires Registered Nurses for their Medical ward! The G2 Ward is a 28-bed adult medical unit which has the capacity to expand to 30 beds if required. The unit provides multi-disciplinary assessment, management, and care to general medical patients inclusive of Oncology, Cardiology, Respiratory, Renal, and Acute General Medicine.
Start Dates:
1. 23.12.24 - 30.03.25
2. 06.01.25 - 30.03.25
3. 13.01.25 - 30.03.25
Mandatory Experience:
1. A minimum of 2 years’ Medical experience
2. Good computer literacy skills
Mandatory Competencies:
1. BLS competency
2. Manual and patient handling
3. Infection control
4. Aggressive behaviour management
5. Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwifes for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect
6. Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012
