Open Pantry Co. is proud to be partnering with the team at The Hideaway Bondi to help build their kitchen brigade ahead of their April opening.
We're opening a 200-seat New York steakhouse in Bondi this April and we need a CDP who doesn't need hand-holding.
Good product. Proper cuts. A menu that has a point of view. Volume that'll test you but won't break you, if you're the right fit.
We're not chasing trends. We're building a room people come back to.
What the job actually looks like:
* You run your section. Not sort-of run it, actually own it
* Services of 150–300 covers. Busy is the baseline
* Mise en place that holds up, not just looks good at 5pm
* You're the person the commis watches to learn how it's done
* Tight kitchen: no room to hide and no reason to
What we're looking for:
* You've done this before and you were good at it
* You don't panic. You prep better next time
* You respect the food, the team, and the guest. In that order
* Strong Commis ready to step up? We'll back you if the attitude is right
