Jackson Asphalt is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to lead our Civil Team
As a Civil Works Crew Foreman, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating civil construction crew, including base preparation, earthworks, drainage, and final trim ready for asphalt paving. Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will oversee daily site operations, manage personnel and resources, and ensure compliance with all safety and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate civil works crews on-site.
* Plan and oversee daily construction activities.
* Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
* Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety.
* Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
* Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications.
* Conduct site inspections and complete required documentation.
* Mentor and support team members to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience supervising civil construction works.
* Proven experience in civil works, earthworks, road construction, drainage, or related infrastructure projects.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* Sound knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
* Minimum 3 years of experience final trimming with skid steer.
* White Card (mandatory).
* Current driver's licence.
* Road Ranger HR licence (desirable).
* Relevant civil construction qualifications and tickets (desirable).
What We Offer
* Competitive remuneration package - $55 - $65 per hour plus penalties, or equivalent annual package; negotiable based on experience, with super, vehicle allowance potential, and overtime/penalties common in WA civil projects.
