About The Role
We are looking for Hospital Assistants to help the Nursing staff with non-medical duties including housekeeping, portering patients, food preparation and general assistance. The role also involves assisting in the delivery of personal care for all residential clients. You will contribute to the dignity and well-being of the residents by providing a safe home like environment, assisting with personal care, mobility and other duties required.
The Hospital Assistant works as part of the multidisciplinary team. You will be required to maintain a safe environment for clinical care while supporting the residents with personal care.
You will need to be reliable, punctual and energetic, physically fit, have a caring and supportive attitude and use your good communication skills to be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Remaining calm in emergencies and the capability to handle equipment such as wheelchairs, beds and other medical equipment is also valued.
