Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge and Bungle Bungle Guided Tours are well-established, award-winning companies providing guided tours and accommodation in Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungle). We are seeking an enthusiastic Lodge & Tours Manager to join us for the 2026 season
About the role:
As the Lodge & Tours Manager you will manage our daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest services and tour operations.
The successful applicant must be comfortable working in hot conditions at our live-in remote Lodge.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Maintaining the optimum presentation of all areas of the lodge, including operations and security of company vehicles.
* Ensuring guest services are maintained to a high standard and implementing improvements based on customer feedback.
* On-site administration and accurate record keeping.
* Coordinating and adhering to planned maintenance schedules and providing rapid responses to unplanned maintenance.
* Managing on-site financial activities such as daily cash and credit card reconciliations and payroll report preparation.
* Keeping operations on budget while aiming to meet or even surpass our goals.
* Overseeing staff rosters and assisting with the induction and ongoing training of property employees.
The successful applicant candidate will possess the following skills and aptitude profile:
* Minimum of 2 years operational tourism management experience.
* Adaptability to manage the 24 hour operation of the property.
* Safety first mindset with knowledge of Safety Management Systems.
* Skills in prioritising a busy working environment.
* Strong computer literacy in Word and Excel.
* Hold a current "C" Class Driver's Licence.
* Awareness and recognition of Aboriginal cultural.
* Fit and able to work in warm weather outdoor conditions.
This role is a seasonal live in position from April through to the end of early October, working 21 days per 4 weeks and 8 days off, with a minimum of 5 days off each month in town. Meals and safari tent accommodation are provided on site, as well as the ability to explore the national park and surrounding Kimberley. Air and Road transfers are also provided in and out of the National Park from Kununurra.
The successful applicant must be available to commence in mid March/April 2026.
