Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team as a Finance Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for various financial tasks including administration, account management, and reporting.

* Administration related tasks such as system upkeep and general administration duties.
* Assist with month-end processes and reporting.
* Maintain accurate records and prepayment schedules.
* Ensure timely completion of daily accounting tasks to maintain sound financial operations.
* Own the General Ledger and Accounts Receivable reconciliations.
* Manage data for daily, weekly, and monthly transactions.
* Respond to enquiries from internal and external customers.
* Contribute to ad hoc projects within the finance team.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

* Proven experience in general ledger processing.
* A Bachelor of Business/Commerce is highly regarded.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in finance is essential.
* Sound knowledge of reconciliations.
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A willingness to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
