Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough research and investigations related to waste management practices, contractual arrangements, landfill licensing, and environmental compliance.
* Develop project/contractor briefs and provide technical support for waste management projects, including documentation, specifications, invoice approval, and records management.
* Oversee compliance aspects related to DWER landfill license conditions, including reporting, allowable materials and quantities, and landfill levy reporting.
Requirements:
* Extensive understanding of waste-related regulations, including but not limited to, the Environmental Protection Act 1986 and the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007.
* Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of best practice waste management techniques, around Collections and Landfill management.
* Sound knowledge of compliance and reporting requirements in relation to waste management facilities, including landfill sites.
