Our client is looking for an experienced Communications & Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a 6-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension.
Your new role
- Plans, develops, and evaluates marketing and advertising strategies to support organisational initiatives and campaigns.
- Provides expert advice on marketing, public relations, events, and promotional activities to internal stakeholders.
- Writes, edits, and proofs a wide range of marketing materials, including advertising copy, brochures, newsletters, and media releases.
- Prepares media releases and liaises with media outlets to gain support and coverage for marketing projects.
- Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external partners, and represents the organisation in meetings and public forums.
- Prepares reports, briefs, and evaluations to measure campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
- Ensures adherence to policies, ethical standards, and information security protocols, and contributes to policy development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experienced in planning, developing, and evaluating marketing and advertising campaigns, including content creation, collateral development, and budget management to support strategic objectives.
- Skilled in managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, monitoring progress, and reporting outcomes against set goals and deadlines.
- Proficient in writing and editing a wide range of materials, including strategies, media releases, creative briefs, reports, and content for various platforms, tailored to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels, facilitate meetings and workshops, and build collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Capable of conducting market research and campaign evaluations, using insights and trends to assess performance and inform future marketing strategies.
