**A Day in the Life**
**Mental Health Clinicians** are required to provide the best care to our communities. Comprehensive mental health care means that all aspects of a person's needs are considered when providing that care. Working in line with Monash guideline and procedure, the role of the case manager is to undertake holistic assessment of needs, treatment planning, monitoring, advocacy and linking of the consumer with appropriate community support services. As a **Senior Case Manager** you will work collaboratively with other clinicians to ensure high quality of care is provided to consumers in the service area. You will look to provide comprehensive mental health assessments and demonstrate competence in managing complex, mental health issues whilst adjusting to changing priorities. You will be required to manage an allocated caseload of clients, providing direct support and interventions, co-ordination of care and referral to other relevant community professionals, agencies and services.
As a** Senior Clinician**, it will draw on your knowledge in mental health legislation and policy and expect you to demonstrate your expertise in mental Health and clinical skills, all while undertaking a clinical caseload including duty, mental state and risk assessment and crisis management. Client contact may occur at the clinic, via teleconference or at their own accommodation as required.The senior position requires an individual with expertise and skills in mental health to ensure a comprehensive assessment, collaborative treatment design and appropriate referral of consumers presenting to the team occurs, whilst also providing expert clinical leadership to other case managers on the team. The clinical service delivery model is based on an evidence-based, recovery-oriented approach to care. A Senior Clinician is also expected to undertake small operational responsibilities under the guidance and directive of the Team Manager and may be asked to step into the role of acting manager when required.

**What You Need**:
- Relevant qualifications (aligned to position descriptions)
- Demonstrated experience in a mental health setting
- Current AHPRA registration (as per discipline)
- Current practicing registration
- Include any other mandatory/required skills or licences
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence

- Desirable experience in Alcohol and Other Drugs
